Roles & Permissions

Tablebook uses a role-based access control (RBAC) system. Every staff member is assigned exactly one role.

Available roles

Role	Typical use
Owner	Full access — all settings, billing, and users.
Manager	Manage reservations, guests, tables, and settings. Cannot change billing.
Host	Create and manage reservations and guests. Cannot change settings.
Waitstaff	View reservations and guests only.

Changing a staff member's role

Go to Property Settings → Users, click Edit next to the staff member, and select their new role.
