Your public events page

What this covers

The page your guests see, and how to make it work for you. Branding needs the manage-settings permission.

The two pages

• Your events list — /whats-on/your-restaurant, headed What's On. Every published event with an upcoming date. When there is nothing on it says "No upcoming events right now — check back soon."
• A single event — its own page with your image, the description, the price (payable on site), and the booking form.

Neither page shows your property code, so the address is safe to share anywhere.

What a guest does

1. Picks a date from the ones actually available. Full dates show Sold out; others show "6 spots left".
2. Chooses a party size inside your min and max.
3. Gives a first name, last name and phone. Email is optional.
4. Presses Book now and sees "You're booked, Maria!" with the details.

If no dates are open yet, the page says "No dates are currently available for booking" and "More dates are released weekly." — see Recurrence and event dates.

How it looks

The page uses the same branding as your booking page and your menu — your logo, hero, colours and social links — set once in Property Settings → Public Pages Design. There is also an events-specific intro, which falls back to your shared intro if you leave it blank. See Branding your public pages.

Getting people to it

• Copy the link from the event page and put it in your Instagram bio, your newsletter and your Google listing.
• Add a good image. It is what appears when the link is shared — landscape, around 1200×630.
• Write the description as a pitch, not a description. What they will eat, how long it lasts, why it is worth the evening.
• Put the events list on your own website rather than only linking out. See Embedding your events.

Before you share it, book one yourself

Open the page as a guest, make a booking, check it appears on the event page, then cancel it. Five minutes, and it catches the two things that actually go wrong: a cutoff so strict nothing is bookable, and a min/max party size that excludes the people you meant to attract.
